With a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education and Management, Lisa is an accredited practicing dietitian and credentialed diabetes educator working at private practice and aged care in Sydney for many years. She has substantial experience in prescribing nutritional therapies to clients with different health conditions, and helping them modify lifestyle behaviours and improve life quality.
She currently is also working as the dietitian for the Australian Nursing Home Foundation (ANHF), St Basil’s NSW/ ACT Aged Care,the Australian Vietnamese Aged Care Services (AVACS) Nursing Home and Garden View Nursing Home. She provides individual dietetic consultation, group or workshop education, menu review and recipe development services to the clients at the residential aged care facilities and the local communities. In the past few years, Lisa also has worked with Be Seed Sational to help improve children’s nutritional status and optimize health outcome.
Lisa has published articles in newspaper, and attended radio and Televisions interviews on the topics of healthy dietary intake and Diabetes management.
She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Chaozhou Dialect fluently. The multi-language skills enable her to communicate with clients from the Chinese community effectively.
